Earth Hour

On March 28, hundreds of millions of people from 88 countries used their light switch to cast their Vote for Earth.

In December this year, world leaders will gather in Copenhagen to determine how the world deals with climate change. Their choice is simple – Earth or global warming.

This photo was taken at my home last March, when my neighbors and their three children came over and we turned off all the lights in the house.  The kids LOVED it and after the hour was up they asked if we could do it more often than just once a year!

Spread Your Wings And Prepare To Fly

Watching a precious little girl blossom into a young lady is always a bittersweet occasion.

When the metormorphosis is complete the new butterfly will break its way out of the casing of the chrysalis and spread its new wings for the first time.    And fly.

Funny Girl

Why is a pretty, feminine, cute, little girl sticking out her tongue at us so enchanting?

Because it flies in the face of convention of how we expect (and teach) our little girls to “behave”

Be silly!  Be happy!  Be funny!  Be giddy!  Be whacky!  Be zany!   Be you!
